Stunner receives 210 hours of community service and $150 fine for negligent driving

Rapper Stunner, real name Desmond Chideme, was today sentenced to 210 hours of community service to be performed at Greendale District office for negligent driving. Harare magistrate Ms Nomsa Sabarauta also fined Chideme $150 with the option of three months in jail for driving without a license.

Stunner pleaded guilty to negligent driving and driving without a licence following cancellation of his warrant of arrest. He crushed into four parked cars, damaging them while driving a Toyota Lexus registration number ADG 3577.

Yesterday, prosecutor Mrs Devoted Nyagano had urged the court to send Chideme to jail to set an example for would be offenders.
