Promoters Urge Ladies To Wear Black Doeks For Mafikizolo Show
Promoters of the hyped Mafikizolo show have urged ladies who are planning to come to the show to wear black doeks in solidarity with Xenophobia victims in neighbouring South Africa. One of the promoters Blessing Jeke said this to the H Metro:
The show is still on but have decided to use the platform to speak with one voice against xenophobia. All the artistes in the line-up have been sending videos denouncing xenophobia and we are going to hold a studio session where all the artistes will their voices.
Mafikizolo members who are coming to Zimbabwe on Friday will also take part on the production of the song.We will then take the campaign further at HICC on later that night where all the artistes in the line-up will speak with one voice
FeedbackJeke said they will donate part of the proceeds from the show to victims of xenophobia.
