"The Blair that I know" musician now singing against corruption
Musician Tambaoga, real name Last Chiyangwa, who made waves in early 2000 with his pro-Zanu-PF songs such as “Agirimende” is now singing against corruption in the corridors of the power. The musician who seems to have fallen out of favour with the ruling party, claims that his new song “Mutemo Wavirima” is meant to expose corruption. Said Tambaoga:
It is so sad that some of the people who are supposed to be stopping corruption are the ones causing it. As Zimbabweans, we should make it our mission to help the Government stop corruption. Instead of complaining about it, do something about it.
My anti-corruption song should be embraced by all Zimbabweans because it will educate and help the country fight the problem of corruption which has greatly affected the country’s image.
