Grace Mugabe plotting Mnangagwa ouster

Sources that spoke to NewsDay allege that First Lady Grace Mugabe is targeting the last Zanu PF youth interface rally in Harare to push out Vice-President Emmerson Mnangagwa. 

A source who spoke on condition of anonymity said that Grace had met with the party’s youth league to plot Mnangagwa’s ouster. Zanu PF Harare provincial youth chairperson Edson Takataka confirmed that they met with the Women’s League which is led by Grace. The anonymous source said:

Following the meeting of the youth league national executive last week, Grace met them and demanded answers as to why ED (Mnangagwa) had been receiving rousing welcomes (sic) at rallies organised by the youth. She demanded to know the logistics that would be going to be put in place for the Harare rally and indicated she would be monitoring progress. The Harare rally is meant to be used as the ultimate platform to force him (Mnangagwa) out. Youth league secretary for administration Xavier Kazizi denied knowledge of the alleged plot.
