Tsvangirai advised to avoid stress and strain by doctors, recovering well
Former Prime Minister and leader of the opposition MDC-T, Morgan Tsvangirai, is reported to be “out of danger” after he was airlifted to South Africa. Tsvangirai was airlifted to South Africa, after his health deteriorated following the sudden onset of severe vomiting.
Tsvangirai is recovering well and has been told by his doctors to avoid stress and strain until at least the weekend. The MDC described Tsvangirai’s health issues as “routine” and denied local media reports that he was on life support after being airlifted to Johannesburg in the early hours of Saturday morning.
