I did not poison Mnangagwa, I did not even travel with him on the helicopter: Sekeramayi denies poisoning ED

Minister of Defence Sydney Sekeramayi has dismissed allegations that he is one of the people who poisoned Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Sekeramayi refuted claims that he had travelled together with Emmerson Mnangagwa on the helicopter to Gwanda for a Youth Interface Rally. Sekeramayi was responding to claims by Mnangagwa supporter Energy Mutodi who claimed that Sekeramayi and Health Minister David Parirenyatwa were the main suspects. Mutodi has since been arrested after Sekeramayi reported him to the police.

Sekeramayi said:

I won’t say much except that all he has said is a lie and end at that

I flew from here (Harare) to Bulawayo Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport and from Bulawayo I went to Gwanda by road.

I don’t know why someone would make such a claim that I was with the vice president in the helicopter.
