Zanu-PF to hold rally to show support for Grace Mugabe and to “prove allegiance” to President Mugabe

The ruling Zanu-PF party has announced that it will be holding a rally to show their support and solidarity for first lady Amai Grace Mugabe. The rally will be held at the Zanu-PF headquarters on Wednesday the 30th of August.

This comes after Grace Mugabe has faced massive criticism after she sparked a diplomatic row with the South African government after she allegedly South African model Gabriella Engels. Grace had to be granted diplomatic to protect her from prosecution. However, civil rights group AfriForum has already filed a court application at the Pretoria High Court challenging the government’s decision to grant her immunity. The Democratic Alliance has also filed a Constitutional Court challenging the granting of the immunity.
