Govt finally breaks silence on Mnangagwa's health, urges nation not to panic

The Zanu-PF Government has finally broken its silence on Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa who was rushed to a hospital after a suspected case of food poisoning during a youth rally in Gwanda over the weekend.

Addressing journalists, Health Minister Dr David Parirenyatwa said that Mnangagwa is in a stable condition. He also confirmed that Mnangagwa is receiving treatment in South Africa. Parirenyatwa who was in the company of Information Minister Christopher Mushohwe said that Mnangagwa was hospitalised after complaining of stomach pains during the 6th Presidential Youth Interface Rally held in Gwanda and was rushed to South Africa for treatment.

He urged the nation not panic because the vice president is recovering well and is in a stable condition though still in hospital.
