Opposition MDC-T Vice-President Nelson Chamisa has admitted that councillors from his party have failed the residents of Harare as evidenced by poor service delivery in the city. Chamisa made the admission when he highlighted some of the city’s shortcomings such as failed lighting, poor sanitation and bad roads when articulating the functions of a Councillor to people in his constituency. Nelson Chamisa is a Zimbabwe politician who is currently the Member of Parliament of Kuwadzana East under the MDC-T. He is also the new vice president of MDC-T. In 2003, Chamisa broke new ground in the politics of Zimbabwe by becoming the youngest Member of Parliament at age 25.
