Zimbabwe lost 1-0 to Namibia in its first CHAN 2018 qualifying match against Namibia played this afternoon at Sam Nujoma stadium in Namibia.
Hendrik Somaeb scored the only goal in the second half to give the Namibians an advantage going into the second leg. The second leg will take place next week in Harare on July 23 with Zimbabwe having to score at least a goal to stand any chance of reaching CHAN 2018 in Kenya.

Harare formerly Salisbury is the capital of Zimbabwe. It is the seat of Government, the industrial hub and commercial centre for Zimbabwe. The city was founded by the Cecil John Rhodes-led Pioneer Column in 1890 and named Salisbury.
