Chunga says he wishes to coach Highlanders

Former Warriors captain and Dynamos midfielder Moses Chunga has revealed that he is willing to cross the great divide to manage Highlanders Football Club. The two are arguably Zimbabwe’s biggest clubs and the rivalry between them is so intense that no former player has coached the other side.

Speaking to Television Sports Media, Chunga said:

I would one day love to coach Highlanders because I see a lot of potential (in the team) which is not being tapped well. We have to get away from this thinking along regional lines and try to impart knowledge to every Zimbabwean

Highlanders chairman, Modern Ngwenya, when asked about Chunga’s aspirations referred all questions to chief executive officer Nhlanhla Dube.
