ZEC says protests by MDC-T will not change anything

ZBC News reports that Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) chairperson Rita Makarau said that protests by the MDC-T will not change anything.

According to the State broadcaster, Makarau said that protests over electoral reforms or any other issues are not the option to solve matters as dialogue can achieve that. Her comments come after MDC-T youth league staged a demonstration demanding electoral reforms today. The demonstration was however, thwarted by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) who maintained high presence in Harare this Wednesday. You can see pictures HERE
