Akbay criticises Highlanders players for making stupid mistakes after losing to Black Rhinos

Speaking after Highlanders lost 3-0 loss to Black Rhinos yesterday at Morris Depot stadium, Erol Akbay criticised his players’ performance and described their mistakes as stupid.

Said Akbay:

We conceded stupid goals from their (players) stupid mistakes and there is no excuse to give for this loss. The goalkeeper (Ariel Sibanda) cost us those two goals and for a defender to launch such a tackle in the 12 yard box is stupid especially in Zimbabwe where our know referees are quick to point for a penalty.
