Highlanders beat FC Platinum to reach ZNA Charities Shield final

In a match played at Luveve Stadium today, ZNA Charities shield defending champions Highlanders beat FC Platinum 3-0 with Simon Munawa and Prince Dube scoring in the first half before Prince Dube scored a second to seal victory for Bosso. Highlanders will now face Caps United in the final. All goals were assisted by Roderick Mutuma who played in his first game for Bosso.

Highlanders’ first goal came in the 14th minute when Simon Munawa beat Mhari in goals after a good pass by Roderick Mutuma. Prince Dube scored Bosso’s second on the stroke of halftime following a good interchange of passes with Roderick Mutuma. Prince Dube completed his brace on the 63rd minute cashing on a Mutuma sublime pass scoring Bosso’s third. FC Platinum failed to make the most of their superior ball possession count as they missed chances.
