CAPS United & FC Platinum take title race to the wire

The Premier League title race will go to the final day as both FC Platinum and CAPS United registered wins today. CAPS United won 1-0 against Ngezi Platinum in a match played at the National Sports Stadium courtesy of a goal from Simba Nhivi in the first half.

FC Platinum beat Highlanders 3-0 at Mandava Stadium with Gerald Takwara, Walter Musona and Charles Sibanda scoring. Platinum coach Norman Mapeza had to be treated after he was struck by missiles from Highlanders fans who had taken cover near the VIP stand.

CAPS United holds a two point lead having the same goal difference as FC Platinum. CAPS United face Chapungu on the final day while FC Platinum will play against Tsholotsho.
