Hwange Power Station currently operating at 30% capacity

The country’s largest thermal power station, Hwange Power Station, has dropped its power generation to 280 MW, against an installed capacity of 920 MW.  This means that the Power Station is only producing 30% of the power it is capable of.  However, the power utility is not revealing the cause for the drastic drop in power generation, while Zesa spokesperson Mr Fullard Gwasira  was unreachable.
