Bulawayo residents criticise Govt's stance on city's yearly water crisis

The Bulawayo Progress Resident Association has criticised Government’s stance on the city’s perennial water crisis.

In an interview with New Zimbabwe.com, BPRA coordinator, Rodrick Fayayo accused the government of marginalising Bulawayo and said,

When we talk of the marginalisation of the city of Bulawayo, these are the issues which we will be talking about. The current water crisis in the city has clearly exposed the government that it has done nothing for this city. Every year, the city always faces water related problems but no one in government has bothered to address the situation.

Bulawayo City Council introduced a 72 hour water shedding programme following a decline in water levels at the city’s major supply dams.
