Mighty Warriors yet to start preparations for African Women Cup of Nations tournament
The Mighty Warriors preparations for the upcoming African Women Cup of Nations appear to be in disarray less than a month before the tournament is supposed to start. Zimbabwe is in Group A alongside Cameroon, Egypt and South Africa.
At the weekend South Africa hosted Egypt in an international friendly while Cameroon played Kenya as part of their preparations for the AWCON which kicks off on the 19th of November.
Their coach, Shadreck Mlauzi says he had hoped for the squad to be in camp the whole of October but was waiting for ZIFA whose financial woes have seen the Mighty Warriors being neglected despite their recent exploits this year.
